What a dental website costs in 2026

The price ranges dentists are actually quoted, and where a one-time build sits among them.

Websites for dental practices are sold in three shapes. A one-time build, a monthly retainer, and a builder subscription. Each one has an honest price, and each one has a version people regret buying.

The three shapes

A one-time build from a freelancer or a small studio usually lands between $200 and a few thousand dollars. What you get is the site itself. Hosting, if it is included at all, is billed separately or left to you.

A monthly retainer covers the site plus somebody on call. These run from roughly $200 a month at the low end to several hundred at the high end, and the contract is the point: the agency is not selling a website, it is selling an ongoing service, and the website is how it proves the service exists.

A builder subscription is the do-it-with-tools route. A monthly fee, a template, and your own evenings spent on it.

What the build should include

Whether the price is one-time or monthly, the same things have to be true at the end of it: the hours and services come from your listing and nothing is invented, the pages load fast on a phone, you own the files and the domain, and there is no term in the contract you would argue about in writing.

What we charge, in one paragraph

We build the finished site before charging anything, and send you the link to read. If you keep it, The files, the site itself, is $249 once. Hosted, the same site on your own domain with us watching hosting and backups, is $399 once. Studio, which adds photography direction and a quarterly rebuild, is $499 once. Hosting on the upper tiers renews at $25 a month or $250 a year, and the build itself never recurs. There is no term and no cancellation, because there is nothing to cancel.

How to read any quote you get

Ask four questions. What recurs, and what does not. Who owns the domain registration. What happens to the files if you cancel. And can you see a finished site before you sign anything. A vendor who answers all four plainly is rare enough to be worth a shortlist.

Send us your practice details and we will build yours at no cost, so you can compare a finished site against the quotes you already have.
